Training Schedule

  • March 16 — 1:00 pm — Park Royal Osaka
  • March 27 — 1:30 pm — Park Royal Starbucks
  • March 30 — 2:00 pm — Park Royal Osaka
  • March 31 — Submit application for test at Willowbrook Mall. Target test window: last week of April, between April 27–30. Contact Carl for application support.
  • April 7 — 12:30 pm — Squamish Nesters
  • April 17 — Full Practice Test — Willowbrook Mall — 1:00 pm. Meet at your car parked in front of Tim Hortons. Pin will be sent.
  • April 20 — Full Practice Test — Willowbrook Mall — 2:00 pm
  • April 24 — Full Practice Test — Willowbrook Mall — 1:00 pm

Application

Submit the application by March 31 for a test slot at Willowbrook Mall during the last week of April.

  1. Calm behaviour in the car while a strange person approaches
  2. Sitting while being petted by a stranger — human aggression test
  3. Hand off — human aggression test
  4. Hands-free walking
  5. Full body examination

Calm Car Behaviour
Dog remains settled while an unfamiliar person approaches the vehicle.
Petting by Stranger
Dog holds sit and stays composed during contact from a stranger.
Hand Off
Dog accepts transfer calmly without defensive or reactive behaviour.
Hands-Free Walking
Dog maintains control and position with minimal visible handling.
Full Body Examination
Dog tolerates handling of paws, ears, body, tail, and overall inspection.
Neutrality in Public
Dog stays neutral around people, noise, and general mall distractions.
Controlled Position Changes
Dog performs sit, down, stand, and holds each position cleanly.
Settle on Command
Dog relaxes on cue and remains settled for extended periods.
