ADOPTIONS The Canine Valley pack has dogs of varying ages, all following our training curriculum. They are exceptionally well adapted to different human landscapes, from bustling cities to peaceful forests. Training and adventure are their learning foundation. HUMAN LIFE EXPOSURE By the age of 10 Weeks, the pups will have meet over 300 people, adults, kids, strangers, uniforms, humans all of all kinds. |
HEALTH & WELLNESS Are pups move everyday, we focus on agility and precision. Diet is based on the highest quality raw foods and top of the line supplements. |
It takes a community to make a hero, in our case it takes a community to raise them! Perhaps the most amazing aspect of our litters is that nestled in between valleys and the sea, an entire community assists us in raising these pups. Every litter receives foundational training and it's impressive! They are all trained for service and therapy work making for an exceptional puppy. Here is a quick look at parts of our Service Pup Foundation Training. All our puppies receive this training by the time they are ready to go at 10 weeks old.
Enhanced Basic Obedience: Sit/stay/down but with calmness and patience embedded
House Training: Crate Training. potty training
Advanced socialization: Exposure to different environments (Vancouver downtown, busy public venues, hospitals, firehalls, police stations, forests), animals (cats, livestock and our entire pack of service dogs in training (they make the best role models), sounds (fireworks, sirens, construction) people (all shapes sizes and colors)
Behavior Management: Addressing nipping, jumping, barking
Mental Simulation: Problem solving, nose work
Physical Exercise: Short walks, avoid over exertion
Impulse Control: Patience and delayed gratification
Handling/Grooming: We have a grooming studio as well, all pups go through it!
Service Dog Training: Recall, boundary training, specialty skills like human focus
Relationship Building: Building trust and consistency, positive reinforcement
Problem Prevention: Separation anxiety, resource guarding
Nutrition: Specialized high end supplements, the highest quality raw food (Big Country Raw) and the best puppy kibble on the market (Nutrience).
